"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. "
~Anais Nin

Welcome to the website for my therapy practice and thank you for visiting.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in East Portland.  Perhaps you are here because you are unhappy with something in your life.  Your happiness is important and I believe it's possible to feel more joy.  Therapy can feel like a scary step, but you are worth the risk.

Therapy is a place where you get to talk to someone who is non-judgmental and nurturing and who can offer you a more objective perspective on how to make the changes in your life that you desire.  I view therapy as a collaboration, an exchange where we work together to reach your goals.

I offer:
  • Individual therapy for adults, adolescents, and children
  • Couples therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Group therapy

Currently, I offer  two weekly groups for women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse.  In this group we explore topics through talking, writing, art, etc. Topics explored may include: relationships, intimacy, conflict, coping, triggers, anxiety, PTSD, family now and then, and more. The needs of group members guide the direction of the group and topics chosen. There is also an open time to share each week if you choose and an opportunity to participate in practicing various kinds of body work: deep breathing, movement, yoga, etc.

Please peruse my site and feel free to give me a call if you have additional questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
